When others croak, I sing

I'm gonna start a bit of nonsensical ranting here, so bear with me. The experience of not having the leasure(Yes, pleasure) of having full use of your eyesight has been downright frustrating, maddening but
suprisingly eye opening(LOL, can't help using this pun).

I can feel my zeal for learning increasing. I know I can achieve more. I know I can watch anime without my glasses. Ok, so I kinda made that last point up. I can say from my heart, I'll never see all things as the same as before after the glasses are back, with good measures.

Ok, end rant.

Look Ma, no glasses!

These few days wuthout glasses have been troublesome if not boring. However, I still manage to continue nearly 70% of my daily routine and chores. Here's a list of the things I've managed:

i) Go shopping in a busy shopping complex; picking up necessities and groceries(Thanks to well organised aisle and two helpful friends, Bradley and Ronny).

ii) Prepare simple meals that includes frying nuggets(!).

iii) Surf the web(and posting this post) albeit short visits.

iv) Finished watching "Fun With Dick and Jane". I swear the DVD quality was so good, I didn't have to squint..much.

v) Two full hours of Edith Piaf's classics. Poo poo pee doo!

Not bad eh? Well, for the down part, I have to contain myself from shouting at random times over boredom(Still sane..still sane). Will be getting my glasses in 4 days, so..wooohoo!

(Starts incessant shouting at background)

I see blur things

Damn..broke my glasses yesterday..and when I went to replace the lense today..I was so shocked at the exorbitant price. $183 for just one of side of the glasses. To make matters worse, it can only be fixed by Friday next week. So..yes..I'm posting this without my glasses on. Hmmm...hmmm..

ONE DAMN WHOLE WEEK WITH THIS BLURRY SIGHT!!

The doomed glasses...

Just great..its the holidays and I will be spending it squinting like an old grandpa.
