Masala Spider Anyone?






   Excerpt from Gotham Comics' Press Release:

Spider-Man India interweaves the local customs, culture and mystery of modern India, with an eye to making Spider-Man’s mythology more relevant to this particular audience. Readers of this series will not see the familiar Peter Parker of Queens under the classic Spider-Man mask, but rather a new hero – a young, Indian boy named Pavitr Prabhakar. As Spider-Man, Pavitr leaps around rickshaws and scooters in Indian streets, while swinging from monuments such as the Gateway of India and the Taj Mahal.


Mumbai’s (Bombay’s) first web-swinging superhero will be joined by a reinterpretation of the classic Spider-Man villain, the Green Goblin -- reinvented as a Rakshasa, an Indian mythological demon.

   Ok..ok...now this is wayyy weird....whats up next? Man..talk about reinviting creativeness...

Dumpling O' Dumpling

   Dumping or more specifically in this case, chinese rice dumpling or more often called "chung tze" is often eaten during the Dumpling Festival aka Dragon Boat Festival. Well, its that time of the year again. My family has been getting lots of dumplings these few days from family friends and relatives. Since then its dumpling, dumpling and dumpling. Dumpling breakfast, dumpling lunch, dumpling for tea time. And there's still err....around 36 more for my family of four to finish. Sheesh...looks like that weight scale is going off again. NOOO!!!

   4 Years. I think that's the period of time since I last saw Yien. Today's the birthday of Li Ting, a friend of mine and naturally I was coaxed to her party. One glimpse after I entered the house and "Bling" there she was. The first girl I had a serious crush on. Ironic? Shocking? Intriguing? Unbelievable(Ok I'll stop there before someone spam my comments box)


   My impression? If one would rate her as a 86% before, now it's up to 200%. Still lovely and blossoming. Somehow I had the urge to get this girl better again. Deep down however I know I'm not the guy I'm used to be 4 years ago. It would be a lie that seeing her did't even make me raise an eyebrow. Maybe its because my new target? One of the definite reason. Still...
