Through the grueling month again..

   I always dread the beginning months of a new semester as they are always filled with assignments and progress test. Its pretty good that I'm still here spending my sweet time until next week or so when all attention(Nearly all but not all ;D) gonna be on the assignments. Tough luck for me because the for the school kids, they are having their one week holiday beginning today

   Anyway, the past few days, my anime collection is really growing thanks to Jonathan. I got Galaxy Angel, Angelic Layer and already copied Shaman King. Looks like my budget will go off again this month with all these spending.

Mayhem In Vice City

   Woooeeeee!! Just bought Grand Theft Auto Vice City yesterday amd boy am I loving it! The new sequel to the successful gangster driving game last year was sure a bomb. The sequel takes place in 80's city of Vice City. 80's means funky music. That's one of the main attraction of the game as now you can drive around in your car or bike(Hey can you even hear a thing??? Nevermind that....) hearing crazy chat talks about madman, Haitian or Columbian music and other groovy cool radio stations.

   Hhehe...since this Vice City, a Florida type city, which means it is near the beach and almost sunny all the year......you really can't miss the walking bikini ladies(OK! OK! I'm not a pervert .....no!!!) and the rollerskating girlies. But you can't miss those fat fellows walking with their belly exposed either....eww...!! Likewise to the original, Vice City's lifestyle is merrier and with more interaction.

   As I convey my new found joy, I'm also having some coughs here coupled with sore throat. Man, the weather's so hot that even the air feels toasty. Anyway here's some screens from my first few hours of GTA Vice City.....Very recommended to avid gamers!!

The Long Wait

   Arghhhh!! All this term's classes is in the morning. I deemed that pretty good 'cause afternoon classes always made me sleepy ;c But this has in turn created another problem.....I'd had to wait around 3-5 hours for my dad to pick me up. With the slow connection at the schools computers and the boring place, this has made Kenny(another friend) and I slacking off around the building looking at misclenous stuff.. Damn, wish that there was an arcade nearby....

Whooshhhhh!!

   Ara! Ara! There's seem to be strong winds here in Sabah today coupled with rainstorms. Just a great thing to start my new term. Hmmm....you might be wondering how strong the wind is..?? Well suffice to say that it manage to break my dad's umbrella in a slight blow.

   On my first day though..things are usually the same here in my college other than a sad note though. It's about Adeline, my cousin who worked here has resigned to take on a promising job offer in Kuala Lumpur. Ahhh....no one to treat me to free drinks anymore ehhh?? ;D . Anyway, just like the usual first lessons, it is all about introductions and giving out the text book. Man, can't believe that they put us with three other batch of student this time......imagine the number of people at the lecture at one time!! Jeez...

   Hehe....but there's something good though....I bought the Sakura Taisen Movie!!!.....Marvel at the beauty of it ne!!!

Rival

   Rival is the people that makes a person strive for something. They may also turn out to be one's enemies. But there's no reason for them not to be a friend as well. Sometimes when I think back about my primary and high school life, I have many rivals. There's the competitive ones, the reluctant, the hidden and others. But most of them becomes friends in the end. Its like in a story, but friendship sometimes does start with rivalry.

   I cherish those moments where competition is really something that drives me. I can safely say that I'm very competitive those early years, but not in an aggresive state though. It is just pure passion. I suppose that made me someone that is not afraid to voice my opinion as well. One cannot make me agree with something that I refuse to believe in until they heard my facts.

   Now that I'm in college, rivals still exists but not exactly competitive. This in turn has made me rust a bit in my debating skills and vocal opinions. Everyone is minding his own studies. This is peaceful and no doubt good....but...I relish that feel of competition....again.....

SNAP!!! CLICK!!

   YOSH!! After waiting more than a month for it, my digital camera has arrived!!! I went to college today to pick it up. But before that, the gang and I went to the internet cafe where Rendy worked at. The place is quite spacious and the computer are quite decent. Well, I got smacked pretty hard on the LAN games today......just because I don't play that Battlefield game much. 8p. Anyway, I'm off to test the many possibilities with this digicam.....heheheh

Rainy Blackout

   The day is pretty dull for me. With the rain and the blackout throughout the day.Even when we went to the sunset mass at the church, the power is not restored until just now. But its pretty relaxing hearing just the guitars accompany the choir. Guess the blackout brings out the silent tune......Hopefullly there's no more blackout tonght...

Its CASHinnnnggggggg In Buying

   I went to college to hang out today. Not much happenings around considering the fact that most of the new term doesn't start in at least another week. However, most of the computer rooms are either occupied or in service. There goes the chance to surf for free....;p After Ayie came, we went to the Centre Point arcade to play some round of Soul Calibur 2. Good thing there's that even the new Guilty Gear X2 machine has already there. However. I'm kinda dissappointed as the buttons aren't very responsive. Kok joined us some moment later. And boy was he furious when there's this guy who beats him using cheap tricks...There goes to say that goo challenge is rare in arcades.
   After some button smashing(I'm not good at those arcade controllers) we went to lunch and proceeded to buy magazines and mangas. Heck...I really spent a lot today. About RM50 goes poof just like that. So much to the idea of saving money to buy a PlayStation 2 .....

Why I Don't Have SuperPowers

   I recently pondered an idea almost every kid or to say it realisticly everyone has ever dreamed of; having superpowers. Yeah, those inhuman powers like flying, having the strength beyong measures, having auras or beams shoot from your palm and most important of all, invulnerability.

   Likewise to say this, there's almost every reasons why I don't have those powers. One important one would be that I'm a clumsy person. Fair to say this if you're prone to shake someone's hands off with those amazing strength. The next reason would be that I don't feel I'm merciful to those who deserve my wrath. But the most important of all would be that I might turn into a super criminal of some sort. I always felt like that because I believe in the phrase Power corrupts. Its easy to say this because we can learn from history itself. Had Hitler or Cao Cao(Romance of Three Kingdoms novel) not rise to power would they be good people or rather better??

Mad About Takako!

   Arrre??? Who? In case you are not one of those Japanese drama lovers like me...chances are you wouldn't know. Takako Matsu is one of the famous television star in Japan. Why? Well, there's this drama playing on the tube called Hero. Its basically about a weird but responsible prosecutor named Kuryu played by Takuya Kimura(Of SMAP remember??). Anyway, Takako Matsu plays his assistant cum partner; Amemiya. I just love her acting and style. Very elegant!! Now let me get this straight though , I don't get overboard over idols. Its just everyone must have an idol or two right?? Check out her website here made by her fans. Its in Japanese though.

Its OLEE Preview

   Gamespot released a lttle preview on the new Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 skating game for the X-BOX and the PC. Seems that for the PC version, there's online support for multipayer gamut and grinding between 8 players max. Check out these screenshot form Gamespot. Awesome dude!!! Cant wait to play it..!!

Slumped

   I am damn bored. Very bored. Today is Labour Day and thus a public holiday. There's nothing nice on the tube. The games I played kinda get repetitive and slow. I hate it when you don't know what to do with your holidays....
