.....sick.....ouch....;\

Today started pretty fine. The sun is not so hot as there as many clouds. I was looking forward to a nice day. When I got to college however, the usual computer room that I always use has been closed due to a Computer Course for a company. Aiiiee...next seeing that the other computer rooms are too slow to surf with; Edgar, Kenny and me went to the entertaintment room to check out if there's any good shows on the cable tv(Yes! Our college has one albeit limited choice of channels though). The next thing you know it, before we even started to warm our seats, there's a lecturer who wants to use the tv fot her lecture.
That did not stop there, by half period of the first lecture, my stomach kinda get uneasy....and that ended with two visits to the loo. Fortunately the day is saved by the fact that I got a bunch of new animes!!....(;'p if this goes on....my budget will be down because of those animes.....sheeshhhh

Can I still learn how to draw???

Ouch...today's seemed to be very hot!! That's even worse considering the fact that there's an electricity cut around the area!! Woooeee...fortunately I woke up rather late. Spent the rest of the day napping and trying to draw. Yes, I'm trying to draw again. I would not dream to draw like the pro's even low class ones but rather if I can draw small characters and simple objects...that would be enough.Hahaha...can this stiff handed fellow draw? Stay tuned for bad sketches!! Eventually the cut was off after the 8.a.m - 3 p.m agaonising wait. And yeah here is a sketch made by my friend Leonard on my character. Hehehe...its the Gangster style Soba!!!!

......Hahahahahaha......!!!!

Before I start...let me....lau...gh....wahahahahaahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!..Ok..that's better. I'm not crazy or psychotic..its just during the sunset mass at the church just now...I was very unfortunate to have sitted near a couple of weirdos. The wife's fine. The husband's the main villain. Oh man, he tried to sing the hymn with a rather "unique I'm myself" tune. And that was the beginning of my problem. I had to control myself from bursting into laughter. But that nightmare continued until the service was over. When I got home, I got face cramp and my stomach ache like crazy.....aiiieee....next week I'll avoid them at all cost. If you would excuse me.....wahwhahahhahahaha........

What's the time??!!

"**Drools.....Drools...ZZZZZzzzz*****What!??? It's near 12 noon??" That was my expression when I woke up today.Yeah, you read that right. I could not believe it myself. I slept rather early the night before. Sheesh....the warm and cold weather must be the factor. Uahh...still drowsy somewhat now. Well...the rest of my day was spent downloading mp3s and tidaying up my cd collection. Now that I realized it, the cd's is bursting out of the small cabinet and box where I put them. Hmmm...have to buy a bigger shelf later. And about yeasterday's post....I've made up my mine....no matter what happens...all will be mine if its destined to be........

My simple thoughts

I'm pretty drained today. Emotionally. But no I'm not depressed or something. It's just something I'd think about the personal events that is going to happen this two weeks. All I can say is that we can only plan something but let fate do the rest. I still believe we our what our destiny will become but somethings are just out of our reach.

I say a little wish. Don't change.

The would I, will I, can I, how do I do it situation

I got that feeling again. I cannot express what's inside. I cannot do it no matter how I try and want to. But if I don't do it, there's much chance, there would be far less oppurtinity to do it again. I need that something so much it aches to remember the previous. I am not rambling without a clue or dancing in my own world...because I know it has to be done...somehow....

is just what the doctor ordered. You're quick

A Morning In Town

Today, in the morning I went to town with my mother. There was always the "tamu" or the local language for weekend open market. Hosh! It was so hot while walking around because we went out a bit late. But it was worth it. There was lots of choices of vegetables, fruits and produce. Reminded me of how I used to walk around the town when I was small. The views seemed to change by the years. Still wish I still have the innocence and curiosity of that kid in me.....

Rainy Days

It seems that it will rain everyday for this few weeks. Its nice to have some rain for a while after that hot and hazy weather. I went to Jonathan's house today along with my other friends. Its kinda boring though because of the limited choice of games coupled with the bunch of us to take turns playing. Played Guilty Gear X2 and Tenchu 3. Jonathan's PS2 controller is kinda hard to play with though as it is hard on the thumbs. Anyway, Jonathan finished downloading Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar and gave it to me!! I just watched 4 episodes barely some hours ago. Its a kawaii anime with lotsa of comedy...be sure to watch it ne!!!

Pebble In The River
by Soba

For I am a pebble in the river,
be as I am; turning around with the currents,
turning as the world changes but mine.

For I am a pebble in the river,
smooth with tides of time and ever vigil,
till the sand is me and I am the sand.

Soba The Ambitious

I had a great time today 'cos I had have this "idea rush". Hmmm...probably....most probably...I would be buying a digicam soon and I'm planning to make a photo showcase site to complement the blog. The site would then show my bad photography skill ;p. Anyway it rained kinda hard last night. As a result, the haze cleared a bit. Its kinda good to see the mountains again when you're travelling down the road early morning. And yeah, got some more bargain cds today with killer prices...hohoho here to Soba's CD Museum!!

Care and precautions

Well today seemed to be a slow one for me. No news or such from this side of the world except that the haze is getting worse by the day. On the other hand, there's seemed to be a flu disease spreading around the globe right now, so take precautions by avoiding large crowds or try to take some flu shots with your're travelling.

char test over = excitement;

Sigh.....relief.....what else??? hehehe...I just finished two days of gruelling test days. well I'm not sure if gruelling is the right word to use but it actually turns out quite good for me. Quite a number of students took the same exam course test as mine. I'm very damn lucky this time 'cos I just started to revise a few days back. Hmmm...better not goof around too much....NOT!!!

On other stuff happening lately would be the terrible haze!!!! There's actually haze happening around here. Its not happening because of the forest fires from neigbouring countries. The haze happened as a result of the open burning of small forest and bush by ignorant people. I saw those fires each morning I went to college. Nearly everyone burns something now as this the dry season and it would be easier to clear out weeds by burning them. But with the "easy" part comes the haze. Wish soemone could tell them the consequences but wait NO!!!...they themselves should have that common sense. Well hope the rain comes soon. I choking in the this hazy weather.

Let's hit the books!!

Its 5 days before the progress test and I'm only 30% ready for it. I've made up my mind to put more time on study this week, so this maybe this blog would not be updated for some time until next week. But I'll try and post something up if I got the time....

My would be chances..

Have you ever felt that if you are born a few years earlier or later would make a difference in your life?? I do felt so but in terms of different matter. Friends. I kinda envy school kids right now...that bright cheerful faces, smiles and enthuism. Reminded me when I was in their place. Seeing new faces near the school also brings envy the thought that I could have a different set of friends( Though I will not do anything to change my friends now, they are perfect!!!).

Peek at life

I went out to give some cds to Fenella and Julie today. Its quite a brief meeting though 'cos they have to rush to phone Ah Bi whose having a Judo competition in the Peninsular. Ganbatte Ah Bi-chan!! After that, went to buy some comics and magazines before going home. Actually its quite good today because as I was walking in town, I saw old friends and their daily lifestyles. Sometimes I felt I'm spending too much time in front of this "box thingy" that I missed out on the happenings in my own town. Hahaha, maybe I'll take on leylop's idea and take some pics of hometown if I have the time that is...;p

Me the big spender

Aiii..bought two more cd's today. One on the manga scans of the Cooking Master Boy and one on a PC game called Praetorians. While I can afford it..sometimes I feel guilty on buying so much cds. To think of it, back on the high school days, buying this much would cost me at least a week's allowance. The trend started when I got into college. But even though I'm such a spender, I have better allowance managament than my friends. Mayne its because I don't buy unwanted stuffs to much...(excluding the cds that is hehe)

I'll recommend a game today. Its title is Impossible Creatures. Its nice Real Time Strategy game which lets you to combine various animals in to hybrid units( Imagine having a polar bear and crocodile hybrid unit fighting for your cause!!!). Definitely recommended for its uniqueness.

Ash Wednesday Mania

Hehe..just got back from the church and it was jam packed today by people. My family coudn't find any seats inside the church so we have to settle for outside seating. Fortunately it did not rain or it will be very wet occasion for the others too. The thing is that bugs me is the little kids running around 'ala' Wolf pack near me...here they go....."HEHEHEHEHHEH" and they come back again screaming "AHHHHHHH" seems like the kids today got nothing to do with adventuring. Yes, I know that they are just kids and believe me, I too did crazy stuffs back in the kids days. Now that's fine 'cos back then the kids have that sense of controlled curiosity which led to good findings. Now its just the chase, run and scream kind of stuff. Just hope they turned out good(Though they may have good career prospect being rock singer or cheerleaders hehe)

Tension building....

I will be having my progress test on the 15th of this month. Tension is certainly building up. I cannot play a game or do anything else without having the slightest thought of it. Though I'm not going to panic or something, its kinda unpleasant when you try to enjoy.

Just finished Mafia the game today. I'm pretty impressed with the ending even if it is sort of not happy in a sense. Valuable lesson to be taught: Whatever you do will always return you the same fate. That's a good thought to be taken especially to consider before you act on something. In life we often take things for granted over and over again, but even the smallest deeds or mistakes can mean fortune or the opposite for life.

CD Bargains

I got some good bargains today when the owner of a shop in my college building slashes the prices on some of his cd merchandise....wooweee its kinda cool cos they are just RMO.50 each!!!!. leylop sent me some recordings on Hangzhou diallect, a good topic discussed in her blog. In other matters, its just funny when a lecturer has a similar hairsyle like yours and has it the same day you just cut yours...that happened to me today just when I thought its the right time to do so.....

Just got back from the wedding.

Food-Verdict: Ok...but too normal...no specialties.

Hospitality-Verdict: Nice and cheerful

Entertainment-Verdict: Somebody get that "ah sam and ah pak"(auntie and uncle) off the stage

Service-Verdict:At least the waiters are nice...my glass of orange is always full ;)

Well its for the sake of my neighbour...anyway may the couples live happily forever more!!

A toss to the couples...

I'm going to my neighbour's wedding today. Hmmm...it sure will be filled with some witty characters....when they are drunk that is. I just hope there's none of the blabberheads "Ah Sam" or "Mak Cik"( Both translates to aunties). Though I hope some beauties will show up ;p hehe. I'll post again if I get back in time. ......
